County Veteran Services Officers
County Veterans Service Officers can help veterans, their dependents or survivors, in filing for VA benefits including service-connected compensation, non-service connected disability pension, survivor’s pension, death and burial benefits, VA healthcare enrollment, education, home loan guaranty certificates, vocational rehabilitation, upgrading or correcting DD214s, and any other benefits available.

Governor’s Office of Veterans Affairs
The Governor's Office of Veterans' Affairs advises the Governor on the state of veterans' affairs in Ohio, acts as a liaison with other levels of government agencies, provides operational oversight of the 88 County Veterans Service Offices, supervises the training, certification and accreditation of more than 600 county veterans service officers, commissioners and staff.
